At some point, I stopped being very talkative. I mean it’s awesome to develop better listening skills, just not to the point where you don’t know how to speak with new people. This conundrum sparked the birth of the stranger project dubbed…*drumroll* 50 STRANGERS! What makes this project even more interesting? Not only are the people strangers, but I’m also new the Atlanta, GA area!
This personal project is far from groundbreaking but it’s time tested and works. I will immerse myself in a sea of unknown people and say, “Can I take your picture?” I will not falter to rejection or being flat out ignored…I WILL SURVIVE! Scratch that…that’s a little too dramatic. In earnest, this project will help me become a better portrait photographer & I will “emerge” (at bare minimum) into a semi-social butterfly. Because this is a rather large project only some portraits are featured here.
